What is Yoga?

Yoga is a deeply personal practice which goes  beyond any superficial shapes you might make with your body.  When you get to the heart of it, yoga is less about how you look on the outside and more about how you feel and think on the inside.

The profound benefits come when your practice extends into everyday life. 

 

Imagine having the the ability to respond to stress more skillfully, to build healthier boundaries, to be unapologetic in how you live and, to show up fully for yourself and others.  With a regular practice you can have all that and much more!

 

Yoga simply put... makes living easier.

Do you need to be able to touch your toes?

No - not at all.  The poses often taught in group classes, the ones often associated with yoga... those poses aren’t actually the practice, or the point.

Yoga can be practiced laying on the floor, in bed, sitting in a chair, on your couch... in fact you can practice anywhere and, you don't have to do a single pose to have an advanced practice.

How do I teach?

I’m committed to creating inclusive, accessible, welcoming spaces — where curiosity, compassion, and self-discovery lead the way. All my teachings stem from the philosophy.
